Interviews and lived experience

Working with case studies and people with lived experience takes a special set of skills. Often people are opening up about something very sensitive and personal for the first time. I'm diplomatic, considerate and respectful. I know which person to use for which campaign, but also know when it’s not the right time for an individual to speak up.

I've worked with people from all kinds of backgrounds. I've interviewed refugees and survivors of conflicts, terminal cancer patients, people with disabilities, bereaved parents, leading medical professionals and victims of crime.

I can also coach people to tell their story more widely and prepare them for interviews with journalists.
