The Institute of Cancer Research
Challenge:

The Institute of Cancer Research had a busy period of activities coming up and needed additional storytelling support.
Solution:
​
As an extension of their stories team, I wrote content for a number of initiatives including the ICR’s Christmas fundraising appeal, charity partner activity, the London marathon and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
​
This involved interviewing people with cancer, fundraisers and supporters. I then wrote blogs for use on the charity’s website, social media and newsletters. For Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I interviewed two bereaved parents to talk to them about their experiences and why cancer research is so important.

Results:
​
I was able to deliver additional content for the team during a busy time, helping them to reach deadlines and cover all the areas of the charity that needed storytelling support.
