British Society for Rheumatology
Challenge:
To share the knowledge and experience of members of the society by developing compelling web articles on topical issues. These needed to be used to drive people to the website.
Solution:
I regularly interview members of the BSR including researchers, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, podiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
I then turn these interviews into engaging articles, news stories and first-person content. I’ve written on a number of subjects including the latest innovations in rheumatology, best practice and the impact of Covid-19 on frontline workers.
Results:
Increased traffic to the website from e-newsletters and social media posts which link to the content.

Produces great content
"We often don't have capacity to create the content we want and know that Elspeth is a safe pair of hands for this. I always know if I give Elspeth a brief I can leave it with her and I'll get something great back. She's professional, takes direction well, works quickly if need be but holds herself to high standards, takes the time to really understand the subject matter, and always produces a great, quality piece of work at the end."
